Tent makers ...

I remember the joy my children found in making tents in our living room. Every Saturday morning, we'd drag pillows, blankets and furniture into the center of the room and construct some rather fine blanket forts with clothespins and creativity. This was THE perfect spot for morning cereal and viewing cartoons.

Blanket forts are made to inspire dreaming! So, when I see adult versions of indoor tents, I begin to dream about building a cozy nook just for me.

Reading and napping on a weekend would take on a whole new joyful perspective from a tent.

With a bottle of vino and a few votive candles, I think I might even entice my husband to join me!

Maybe it's the gypsy in me, but I'm intrigued by where a collection of blankets and rugs might go. From the living room to the forest doesn't seem like such a stretch.
