Patrick Sutton's instincts ...

"Drawn from a world of travel and elegance ..." was the first description I read of designer Patrick Sutton's instincts. I would say from everything I've seen, he sustains his reputation for luxurious designs with flair and ease.

Above and below, Sutton has blended transitional design elements beautifully in two lounges of a Baltimore waterfront residence.

Both photos of the same dining space (above and below) showcase Sutton's sophisticated hand as an interior designer and stylist.

I love the editorial eye Sutton shows in his work at this Eastern Shore retreat. There is no denying the coastal vibe and restrained play with themed accessories.

If it should happen that you want to convert your home's grand ballroom into a warm living area, give Sutton a call. He transformed a cavernous space (shown above and below) into a charming classic with oodles of personality.

All photos via Patrick Sutton.

In addition to his design work, Sutton has a fab storefront in Baltimore and hosts an online shopping site at Patrick Sutton Home with custom upholstered pieces and decorative accessories that are an extension of his luxury lifestyle brand.

Now, what is that limit on my credit card?

Love the room that he did at the 2011 DC Design House (shown in the grand ballroom pictures in your post). I agree with you in your admiration of his designs -- his lighting is gorgeous, and his rooms not only reflect his signature style, but also look very comfortable and liveable! Someday will make it to his store in Baltimore... Love your blog!
