I'm sure we're like many families that have holiday traditions, including adding ornaments with special meaning on our tree each year. Some Christmas decorations have been handed down through several generations of our family, while others are much newer and symbolic (like my handmade Putz houses, below left.) See my previous project tutorial on creating Christmas village houses posted here.

... or those decked out with cottage appeal

Sometimes, they're not much of a tree at all ...

... but, earn kudos for clever imaginations.

Should I dare say that Christmas trees 'float my boat?'

If I had a body of water larger than my bath tub, I would definitely send a decorated tree adrift to make everyone smile!
