Linen love ...

I consider any shopping trip a success if I bring home a purchase made of linen. I'm smitten with the simple fabric made of flax or cotton - always a great addition to my wardrobe (carefree and perfect weight for our weather).

I also adore the beauty of woven hemp used to upholster furnishings. Linen is a sturdy textile that's equally at home in a humble cottage or penthouse suite (or even in my living room).

Warning: Looking at the beautiful and practical linen treasures below may make you swoon just a bit, too!

I love the descriptive phrase, 'velvet and linen.' It's my favorite decorating style, a little glam, a little rustic!
