Prescribing pink ...

I think a strong dose of pink is in order as a cure for the winter doldrums. Not just any pink, mind you - let's leave that pale stuff for another time. Today it's all about bold hues that wash away the winter blues.

The striking, honeysuckle pink color choice for this front door is both bold and beautiful. I wonder if the door was painted to match the tree's blossoms.

Here's a great way to liven up a porch before spring arrives. Pair a magenta pink wall with cornflower blue flooring and trim. It's a prescription for cheer!

I'm impressed. I never thought of pink as a color with a classical pedigree. But, it earns kudos for its contribution to the transitional space above.

We're not all brave enough to make a big commitment to such a strong color statement. So, a pillow here and there may be sufficient to test our taste for pink. I really like this long 'noodle' pillow on a crisp, white upholstered sofa.
