Before and after: ottomans

Remind me to never again reupholster anything round! Sure, I got a great deal on two old, worn ottomans, and yes, I am relatively experienced in reupholstering furniture. But, what was I thinking?

I purchased these scruffy ottomans because I needed just a tiny bit of seating for my exhibit booth at the upcoming market at the Dallas World Trade Center. But, the color was all wrong and the fabric almost threadbare.

I found the perfect silver/gray silk fabric to complement the color scheme of my company's first booth at the Total Home & Gift Market. But, what a pain to get the fabric to lay smooth when wrapping the oval shape! Thankfully, these are not the display's focus.  As a matter of fact, booth visitors aren't even likely to see them, and when a derriere is placed on them, viola! all is well.

Can't wait to show you our booth designs ... stay tuned.

Good job! The new ottomans have so much more life to them!
