That's a wrap ...

I think gift wrap stations are the most heavenly of all organization and storage ideas! While I don't have the luxury of an entire gift wrap room like my friend Joci, I do try to maintain some order among my wraps, tissue papers, bows and ribbons.

Sure, it's easy to have a dedicated gift wrapping space in a 57,000-square-foot French chateau-style manor like Candy Spelling's recently sold digs. But, wrapping stations are less about size and more about organization.

A little bit of cabinet retrofitting makes a perfect spot for keeping those holiday papers and finishing touches in place. Both of the gift wrap stations above would suit me just fine! Images via Endless Crafting (left) and Better Homes and Gardens (right).

Pottery Barn sold a perfect, ready-made gift wrap storage unit (above), but I haven't been able to find it online. However, it looks like a fairly easy project for a handyman to build.

When there is no room to spare for a wrapping station year-round, it's simple to house all of the gifting stuff in a organizer like the one above manufactured by Elfa and sold at The Container Store. Just roll out the cart whenever a wrapping occasion arises.

I corral all of my gifting supplies in a canvas organizer like the one by Master Craft above. That way, I can stuff it in a closet when not needed and keep clutter at bay.
